WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS (Updated 11/11/2024)​

 

1. Operation Christmas Child shoebox 

  • We’re excited to announce that we will be participating in Operation Christmas Child this year!

  • This is a wonderful opportunity to spread joy and hope to children around the world.

  • We’ll be collecting shoeboxes filled with small gifts, school supplies, and hygiene items to make a difference in the lives of children in need.

  • Please bring your packed shoeboxes by Sun, Nov. 24 to ensure they can be sent in time for Christmas.

 

2. Women’s Fall Fellowship (Sat, Nov. 16)

  • Ladies, join us for a fun and delicious Fall Fellowship as we gather to make dumplings together!

  • This is a wonderful chance to connect with other women, learn a new skill (or share yours!), and enjoy some fellowship time in the spirit of the season.

  • The event will be taking place on Sat, Nov. 16 from 10:30am-12:30pm in Dream Hall.

  • Bring your appetite, friends, and family who might enjoy a time of food and fellowship!

  • You can sign up for this event either thru their Kakao chatroom or on the signup sheet in the back.

3. Free Health Check Up (Sat, Nov. 23)

  • Our church will be offering a free health checkup and flu shot clinic.

  • Don’t miss out on this opportunity to take care of your health as we head into the colder months.

  • They will be offering free flu shots, check your blood pressure, and blood sugar levels.

  • Mark your calendars for this event for Sat, Nov. 23 from 8am-12pm in Dream Hall.

4. Family worship (Sun, Nov. 24)

  • On Sun, Nov. 24, we will have a Thanksgiving Family Worship service titled, “From the Inside Out”.

  • Instead of our usual service, we’ll gather together in the main sanctuary with the children to worship as one family.

  • This is a wonderful opportunity to come together across all ages, so we invite everyone to join us for a meaningful time of worship. 

5. ANM Thanksgiving lunch (Sun, Nov. 24)

  • We’re excited to invite you to our ministry’s Thanksgiving Lunch!

  • Join us for a time of fellowship, gratitude, and delicious food as we come together to celebrate this season.

  • It will be on Sun, Nov. 24 from 1pm-3pm in Dream Hall.

  • Each of the Life Groups will be providing turkeys, if others can sign up to bring side dishes would be greatly appreciated.

  • You can sign up thru the QR code on the screen or on the laptop in the back by the media table.

6. Youth Winter Retreat (Dec. 26-29)

  •  
  • The youth retreat will be from Dec. 26-29 at the Pali Retreat Center.

  • Parents, please make sure to register your Jr High or High School student for the retreat online thru this link: www.tinyurl.com/IOCyouth

  • The early bird deadline is from now until Nov. 10

New Vision Center Offering

We are continuing to collect donations and offerings for the New Vision Center. If you want to pledge a monthly contribution to this building project, please fill out this PLEDGE FORM. Donations (monthly and one-time) can be made using our Online Giving Portal (link below).

Parking Announcement

In our efforts to care for and love on our members who need easier access to our facility, we are designating our main parking lot as reserved parking for Newcomers, the elderly, handicap parking, and families with children under the age of 2 (including expecting parents). So we’re kindly asking that all who are able would park their cars across the street either at the Vision Center or at the Markimex Parking lot.
